What is Dhaka Sirah Study Center
Introduction:
The last Messenger Prophet Muhammad SAW was an extraordinary man among the people of the entire world. The Almighty Allah declared in the Glorious Quran about the last Prophet to take him as an example to follow. Allah Subhanahu
لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْءَاخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
(Surah Al- Ahzab, 33:21)
That's why it became an urgent duty of all believers to follow him and to know his life history before following his lifestyle, ideas, teachings, orders etc.
Center:
We name the Center in the name of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. The idea of research on this topic comes from the blog owner as he began his career as a teacher on the subject related to the Siratunnabi in the various private universities of Bangladesh. Later on he joined Dhaka University as a lecturer and start to teach this subject in the Department of Islamic History and Culture.Explanation of the Name of the Center:
The former names of the center were Dhaka University Sirat Study Center, Sirat Study Center: Dhaka University etc. At last, we chose this name to keep me safe from many possible questions why I use the University name when I am not a proper authority of this institution. On the other hand, to make the center free of access for all levels of people. Because the connection of the university name may misinterpret the viewers that this is only for the highly educated people. The Dhaka Sirat Study Center is open to all prophet lover people of the world. Those who love the Last Messenger, let us attend in this center and patronize it to go on. It's my humble initiative. I am requesting all true believers to contribute to his/her genius to enrich the center. If you find here any mistake or wrong information please let me inform us by email.
